He’s Got Some Experiments

The Dudes open on a Survey Center on American Life brief that Frank Luntz blasted out: 66 percent of Democratic women ages 18 to 29 say the problems women face are due “a great deal” to the behavior of men. Same question, Republican women that age: 18 percent. The gap shrinks with age and never closes. Daniel Cox at AEI calls the book Generation Uncoupled. That turns into Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez stapling ICE to the anti-AI fight. At a late-September “Students vs. Billionaires” town hall in Ithaca she told the room ICE is Palantir, ICE is facial recognition, and ICE is coming after you regardless of status. Same week she and Bernie Sanders were pushing a national moratorium on AI data centers, while OpenAI’s DevDay drew “Drop the ICE contract” signs and cardboard robots. Later, the fellas dissect the Hasan Piker clip Jesse Watters ran on September 29. Not a random diner. A January 2025 Japan maid-cafe stream that resurfaced: off-shoulder black-and-white costume, pearl choker, cat ears. Fox chyron: “HASAN PIKER PURRS FOR THE REVOLUTION.” Watters’ line: “That’s the Twitch streamer from California who’s leading the communist bloc through the midterms? That’s Abdul’s boy?” Abdul is Abdul El-Sayed, the Michigan Senate Democrat Piker has campaigned with. Piker’s reply was that the same people accuse him of wanting burkas and then lose their minds at a maid cafe. From there it’s France. High-school blockades that started at Saint-Exupéry in Créteil over class sizes, missing teachers, and wrecked buildings, then spread. Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez says nearly 5,000 detained since Monday, most of them minors. Education Minister Édouard Geffray: up to 500 schools closed, 24 set on fire or ransacked, and teachers telling him the people out front were not their students. Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu called the fires irresponsible. Jean-Luc Mélenchon called the crackdown racist. The feed calls it a migrant riot. The ministry calls it a hijacked school blockade. The guys close on Kamala Harris and another podcast word salad. The line that traveled: “Not just memory in legacy but pride in what can be the destiny and was the destiny that many fought for.” EndWokeness put it back on the menu. The comments section settled on drunk. Then Tom Morello’s Power to the People festival, October 3 at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland. Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, Joan Baez, Dave Matthews, Public Enemy, Dropkick Murphys, Jack Black, Cypress Hill, Killer Mike, Serj Tankian. Shepard Fairey on the poster. Ticket money to VoteRiders and HeadCount. Nine and a half hours, “Fortunate Son,” “War Pigs” with Geezer Butler. They wrap on two failures of the state. Tennessee tried to execute Christa Pike on September 30 — 50, convicted in the 1995 torture killing of Colleen Slemmer, set to be the first woman the state put to death in more than 200 years. Two doses of pentobarbital. She was still breathing. Governor Bill Lee paused the rest of 2026. Corrections chief Frank Strada resigned. Same week in Siberia: 28-year-old lab tech Darya Shipilova at the Irkutsk Anti-Plague Research Institute hospitalized September 29, dead October 2. Social media said she broke a tube of pneumonic plague. Rospotrebnadzor and Governor Igor Kobzev say pneumonia of unknown origin, no confirmed plague, contacts quarantined anyway.
