show notes
In hour 2 of The Drive, Zach and Phil take a deep dive into the Broncos as they get set to take on the Seahawks on Thursday Night Football. How important is it for the Broncos' offense to finally have a fast start? Will Bo Nix follow through on his "I don't care" comments from earlier this week and not be as risk-averse as we've seen in the first four weeks? Will Nix be able to continue his impressive records at home and in primetime games? How much will we see Nix run tonight? How much will the Broncos' home-field advantage be on display tonight? Today's "Three Count" includes the Avalanche's odd game last night in which they lost 3-2 in a shootout against their rival Stars, and a rift between Joe Buck and Troy Aikman that could lead to a new broadcast booth for Monday Night Football in the future. John Davis joins the show to break down the history between these two franchises, from being divisional rivals to their coaches getting in a spat over the offseason.
