Episode 323 | Big Bethesda Updates on Elder Scrolls 6 and Fallout 5

As we get to the halfway point of July, we're all dealing with the fallout of the Xbox cuts, and of course, there's plenty of videogames we've played and reviewed. All this and more in the DayOne Show Episode 323! As always, we kick off the show talking through all the games we've been playing, and as you'll see, we've been playing a LOT of games. We've got reviews from Jesse for Denshattack! which channels the Dreamcast era with ease and has been received very positively across the world as it releases on all platforms and Game Pass. If you were a fan of The Alters, we've also got a review for the new DLC - The Last Variable, which is really good. But that's not all! Our review for D-Topia is now available, a cute, narrative puzzler from Annapurna. It’s got some surprisingly dark themes, but it’s also sadly, a little dull. Next up, we’ve got Kaz, a blisteringly fast arcade roguelike where you use your cursor keys to play a digital whack-a-mole of sorts. It’s cute, has a banging soundtrack, and is well worth picking up on PC. We've also got a review in progress for co-op cosmic horror extraction game The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu and if you're after a great twin-stick shooter, you should absolutely check out Pathogenic, a woefully overlooked twin-stick shooter where you play a disease and upgrade your self on a cellular level as you make your way through the human body to kill your host. Beyond that we dig into all the news of the week, which mostly deals with the fallout of Microsoft's savage Xbox cuts. Following tons of reports, leaks and rumors, Bethesda have just come out and admitted what's going on and shares a huge update on what's next for franchises like The Elder Scrolls, Starfield and Fallout. The latter game series gets the spotlight, with confirmed remasters of Fallout 3 and New Vegas, along with the confirmation that Obsidian Entertainment once again return to the wasteland as they officially begin work on a new project in the Fallout universe. Beyond that we talk about id Software, the confirmed new direction for Xbox as they return to exclusivity and of course answer your community questions in the DayOne Show Episode 323!
