New Website and Partnership

Your preparedness plan shouldn’t live in a dozen tabs and half-remembered bookmarks. I’m finally fixing that by launching BuildYourArk.net, a single home for the Common Sense Practical Prepper Podcast where every episode is easy to find, filter, and actually use when you’re trying to make decisions for your family.
I also share a big step forward for the show: my tech partner relationship with Be Prepared Solutions. This isn’t a slap-on sponsorship. Their platform brings the horsepower, hosting, and the planning engine that can tailor an emergency preparedness plan to your situation, while I bring the real-world topics, practical mindset, and the steady approach we’ve built together over time. The dashboard can start with an address (use a nearby one if you’re thinking OPSEC), pull a baseline history going back about 10 years, and surface the kind of location-based risk that matters: storms, floods, outages, and more.
Then we get into the daily-use side of prepping: the Be Aware monitoring dashboard. Think interactive maps, alerts, news tickers, and local power outage tracking all in one place, instead of bouncing between apps. We also talk through the seven-day free trial, how to build scenario plans like “grid down” with subplans for food and water, internet, and power, plus printable checklists and PDFs. There’s even a kit builder that can populate an Amazon cart so you can swap gear, customize your setup, and move at your own pace.
If you’ve been wanting a smarter, more organized way to handle emergency preparedness, check out BuildYourArk.net, try the dashboard, and tell me what you think. Subscribe, share this with a friend who needs a nudge to start prepping, and leave a review so more people can find the show.
