July 24 | Trust God With Justice

Today's reading from Psalm 35–36 and Acts 25 reminds us that God's people are not immune from injustice, but they are never outside of God's care. Both passages encourage us to entrust our lives to the Lord, whose justice is perfect and whose faithfulness remains constant even when earthly systems fail. In Psalm 35, David cries out to God while facing false accusations and relentless opposition. Rather than seeking personal revenge, he places his case before the righteous Judge and finds hope in God's promise to vindicate those who trust Him. In Acts 25, Paul stands before another unjust hearing, facing political pressure and false accusations. Though human leaders fail to act with integrity, Paul continues to trust God's sovereign purpose while faithfully bearing witness to Christ. Together, these passages invite us to remember that justice ultimately belongs to God. As we continue walking with Him, He forms hearts that can remain faithful, patient, and confident even when life doesn't seem fair.
