1 Peter 1:1-9 - Faith Through Trials

Welcome to The Book of First Peter! Today we highlight Peter's encouragement for those struggling through trials: Peter's letter is addressed to Christians living as foreigners in various communities, reminding them to obey Jesus and be sprinkled with his blood - what this means and its significance today. Peter's letter is meant to encourage Christians to have faith and obedience, as these go hand in hand. Jesus tells Nicodemus that one must be born of water and spirit to enter God's kingdom. What does Jesus mean by this? Peter's letter reminds Christians that trials are for the proof of their faith.
