Welcome to the first Monday Motivation of Season 27, our Winter 2026 season of The Art of Home. I am here this cold January morning to motivate you, NOT to jump into New Year, New You plans with all of your might, but rather to enter the New Year from a place of rest and reflection. 

Think About It Questions:

• How do you typically spend January? What do you focus on in your homemaking?
• If you are tempted to skip the second half of winter and jump headlong into all the self and home improvement projects, what can you do enter the New Year more gently, from a place of rest?
• Consider the practice of reflection before resolution. What worked well in your 2025 homemaking? What did not work well? What would you like to leave behind in 2025 and what would you like to bring with you into 2026?
