She graciously shares her journey from self-proclaimed "hippy chick" young bride through a very difficult marriage through years of single parenting then remarriage and her current stage of homemaking in retirement. Kay reflects, "It's not my story, it's God's. I’m grateful that I went through what I did because that helps me to appreciate what I have today…because I see where God delivered me. He didn’t have to, but He loved me so much that He did.”
