show notes
Quebec's biggest river cleanup road trip is back. Over 16 days, a team of scientists, divers, eco-advocates and volunteers will travel nearly 2 thousand kilometres along the St. Lawrence River, stopping in 21 communities to clean shorelines, collect microplastics and inspire residents to join the fight against plastic pollution, one bag of litter at a time. Lyne Morissette, Associate Professor, Institute of Ocean Sciences in Rimouski, School of Ecosystems and Conservation, and co-founder of Mission 1000 tonnes, spoke to Andrew Carter.
