I'm always reminding myself to show up for myself in ways I wish others would have shown up for me. I'm selecting me. I'm choosing me. I refuse to play the victim; I am the victor of my own fate. There's no one who dictates my next move other than the one who inhales and exhales through me which is The Omnipresent One, AliYah. I have a point to prove to myself and myself only and that's to be better than what's expected for me to be. I am only in competition with me. I am selectively chosen to be better than what I was even if it was a day ago. I stay improving because my higher self is what I'm obtaining to be.
