• Chipageddon has arrived, a confluence of factors such as COVID and resulting forecasting errors (esp in automotive), the increasing need for parts to service the 5G ecosystem (towers and handsets), and general consolidation of the chip industry.

• Glamor shots were a thing in the early 90s. The Rock did one. Apparently there are still a few studios open in the US.
• Dave made a DIY lightbox, based on Big Clive's setup. Chris uses this "light tent" that has a top porthole.

• Liam Fraser who was on the episode last week with the Raspberry Pi team wrote about the "journey to Raspberry silicon"
• Dave is working on a new device that might need multiple micros swapped in. Chris mentioned this is the idea behind the Sparkfun Micromod system, which didn't seem super useful otherwise.
• Reusing a commodity connector like the M.2 connector is not a new idea, but the M.2 looks cool!
• Dave is not interested in learning Micropython or Circuitpython for this project because of the time involved.
