Across the Channel, France wants Britain to accept asylum seekers directly from across the European Union as part of the one in, one out scheme. But back here local communities are increasingly worried about asylum seekers in their area. In the village of Piddington, local women have issued an urgent plea to female MPs, fearing they will be vastly outnumbered ten-to-one by male asylum seekers. And just to give you an idea of how bad the situation is - official data reveals the UK asylum appeals backlog has skyrocketed to a historic record exceeding 90,000 cases - a seventeenfold jump over six years ago. Meanwhile, a Labour review says make disability benefits as 'easy as possible' to get as new figures show the number of claimants receiving benefits for ADHD has surpassed the total number of serving soldiers in the British military.
