Connected to Everything, Present for Nothing

Send us Fan Mail Take a Minute with Doc & Coach Have you ever felt like you're connected to everything but somehow missing out on life itself? Between work, family, relationships, responsibilities, and the constant demands on our attention, it's easy to become so busy managing life that we forget to actually live it. In this episode of Take a Minute with Doc & Coach, we explore the story of Mary and Martha in Luke 10:38–42 and what Jesus teaches us about the importance of slowing down and being present. Together, we discuss how easily we can find ourselves sleepwalking through life, distracted by everything around us while missing what matters most. Join us as we explore how intentional moments of stillness, prayer, and connection with Christ can help us move from simply going through the motions to truly experiencing the life God has given us. Because being busy isn't the same as being present. Jesus showed us, through His ministry, how to be obedient and to submit to God in ALL circumstances. God is constantly working on us, in us, and through us. Listen in and learn how Doc & Coach maintain a focus on God and Scripture in their lives, and how an approach rooted in the kindness and love of God can — and will — win in every situation. You can listen anywhere you get your podcasts: Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeart, Amazon, and YouTube (@becomeaprayer). Have topics you want to discuss with Doc & Coach? Could you let them know?
