Tara Strong

Tara Strong joins Taboo to tell the stories behind Teen Titans’ Raven, The Fairly OddParents’ Timmy Turner, The Powerpuff Girls, Rugrats’ Baby Dil, My Little Pony’s Twilight Sparkle, Harley Quinn, Batgirl, Wicked, and the magic of becoming some of the most iconic voices in animation history. In this episode, Tara breaks down how Raven found her dark, unforgettable voice, why Timmy Turner worked so perfectly inside the endless imagination of Fairly OddParents, and the unbelievable Rugrats story that helped her keep the role of Baby Dil. She also talks about growing up around toys, voicing Dorothy in Wicked, working alongside legends like Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy in the DC universe, the emotional bond fans have with Raven and Harley Quinn, the Brony community around My Little Pony, and why great voice acting is never just “doing voices” — it is fully becoming the character.
