Leadership power!

You have it as a leader but are you using it, and are you exercising the right kind of power in the most effective ways?

In this episode, you will learn about the five types of power and show up in nonprofit leadership in effective ways and sometimes not effective ways.

This episode is part one of a two-part series with my colleague Bill Scott. In the next episode, Bill will talk about another way of leading called followership. Stay tuned.

ABOUT Bill

Bill Scott is an innovative management consultant, trainer and speaker with a unique blend of business and social services training. He delights in helping people identify their strengths and learning how to leverage them collaboratively with others.

Bill practices from a strength base, believing challenges that limit innovative thinking can be reframed as opportunities that open up possibilities and creativity.

Bill has a BSW, an MBA and extensive training in Appreciative Inquiry, strengths assessments, negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution. He is based in Surrey BC, a suburb of Vancouver, where he can be found with his wife Cindy, his daughter Keely and their mild-mannered rescue dog, Jessie.
