Nvidia Rallies, Autodesk Falls, Workday Dips

That status has turned its quarterly earnings into a barometer on the state of the wider industry. - Autodesk (ADSK) saw its shares fall in postmarket trading it released earnings that disappointed investors. - Workday (WDAY) a maker of workplace management software, reported a measure of future sales that fell short of analysts’ projections, blunting recent momentum from Wall Street’s renewed enthusiasm for the software sector. The shares dipped about 6% in extended trading after closing at $193.57. The stock had gained 31% over the last month, though it remained down about 10% for the year.
