Ruth is a multi-award-winning change-maker who has spent over 20 years harnessing music and art in communities affected by conflict, inequality, and climate change. From producing global collaborations with artists like Coldcut and Brian Eno to creating groundbreaking projects in Soweto, Colombia, and the Arctic, her work proves that creativity can be a force for transformation.
She is also co-founder of Un-Convention, has led her own record label, played with Manchester legends The Fall, and advises international festivals across Africa, Europe, and beyond.
Through it all, Ruth has dedicated her life to building platforms for unheard voices and proving that art is not just culture, but survival, solidarity, and revolution.
