COSMIC DEATH FUNGUS w Seth Peribsen

If you've not heard of the Cosmic Death Fungus, strap in. Seth shares with us his mind blowing research into a few parasitic yeasts which are ubiquitous, considered normal residents of every human body by modern medicine, and yet according to his institute's findings seem to be connected to numerous chronic ailments, both mental and physical, when left unchecked. He shares the serendipitous stories and high-strange contact events which seem to surround and guide his journey, and some of the more consciousness-related effects of cleansing them from the system using a stack of commonly available herbal anti-fungals and antioxidants. He also puts forth some ontological theories exploring ancient myths and their potential connection to this group of malefic simple fungi he humorously coined Cosmic Death Fungus. Jingle All The Way w Ted Metrakas

Welcome to Holiday Capitalist Cronenberg Hell. We discuss the harrowing tale of a father who turns into a product, as inspired by Ted's fantastic essay on this remarkably disturbing Christmas classic along with a review of Ahnohld's film career and his uniquely unhinged comedic jaunts. This conversation was incredibly fun and weird. Read Ted's article and subscribe to his stack for more. Blue Feathered Language w J David Osborne

JDO returns and we chat about the magpie's feathers, Martin Shaw and Paul Kingsnorth, the craft of writing and storytelling, story itself, the wisdom that comes with age, ideological capture, self-importance as a boon to good music and a bane to writing, and much more. J David Osborne is a prolific independent author who treats his craft with an animistic respect, allowing agency for stories and the spirits who inspire them. His recent novel Berserker Club blends animism, pulp, humor, and sincerity into a hyper-violent yet contemplative page-turner and ties it all up with a shamanistic bow. The Prisoner w Joe - Part Five

We return with part five in our four-part series covering the misunderstood genius of Patrick McGoohan's masterpiece series The Prisoner. The final two episodes elicited many sidetracks and conversational digressions which was to be expected considering the potency found in these couple hours of footage. The final one of which caused riots on the streets of London and forced McGoohan to go into temporary hiding. He considered this the reaction he had hoped for. God bless him. Truly a hero. Epstein, Amelia, & Moonchild

"It's not illegal to party with Jeffrey Epstein" An emergency emotional-processing episode in light of the week's news. We chat about the atrocities in the massive file dump which is probably also a psyop. We also discuss the purple-haired propaganda girl that has massively backfired on the UK government. We chat incel wizards, the silicon valley dark enlightenment, and we foolishly approach the crossroads where billionaire elites, eugenics, occult philosophies, and control systems seem to meet and sip the tea of ambiguity. Obviously this episode contains an 18 wheeler-load of trigger warnings, in case you somehow missed the "explicit content" badge. Stay tuned next week when we return with Part 4 of our series on the most important television show ever made, Patrick McGoohan's The Prisoner. If you enjoy the show, tell a friend! The Prisoner w Joe - Part One

This week we begin our in-depth exploration of the 1967 series that changed TV forever: Patrick McGoohan's masterpiece, "The Prisoner". Surreal, clever, gripping, beautiful, groundbreaking, and career-ending, this series broke television's rules and forever elevated the medium of episodic television to new heights. Cited as a major inspiration for J.J. Abrams' Lost (and with a series finale that made people even angrier than Hurley being the stupid island), this show is positively infamous. With good cause, too. Nothing can prepare you for the vibes, the psychological mindf*ckery, the costumes. Originally airing out of the intended episode order, and with no official canonical sequence, we have opted to follow along in sequence with the following youtube channel which has the entire series for free and in good quality. The Naga! w Tyler of Cormorant Cunning Craft

Everything's coming up snakes! In this episode we explore Tyler's unique connection to a class of ancient serpentine beings known in the Vedas as the Naga. They're deeply connected to the waters that shape the earth, the land itself, and the elements, stretching into the depths of primordial deep-time and the origins of humanity as we know it. Tyler shares some of his incredible and wild experiences with us regarding these awe-inspiring beings, his initiatory relationships with them, and how they have shaped his life and practice. We talk shop about the differences between amulets, East and West, and how Thai magic dramatically opens up the possibilities for variety in enchanted objects, in both function and in formula. Tyler also gives us the rundown on four Naga oils he has been working on for a good while which he is preparing to release to the public very soon in exchange for donations, all four of which sound fantastic. All of Tyler's work at Cormorant Cunning Craft is donation-based and he offers group ceremonies often, which we here at Soapbox recommend! SATELLITE OF GOD w Daniel Rekshan: Disclosure, Hypnosis, Dreams, & The Truth About Chris Bledsoe's UFO of God

After Daniel’s extensive research uncovered conclusively that the “UFO of God” event, after which Chris Bledsoe’s book was named, was in actuality a man-made satellite, he discovered that everyone involved was entirely uninterested in his evidence. We explore why Chris’ UFO can be both a satellite and a genuine contact event through the ancient logic of ceremonial magic, and how this model seems to work better than any other for making sense of contact experiences. We get into how the Bledsoe’s can be totally honest and genuine while still potentially being manipulated by the powerful figures in their orbits. We also discuss the nature of dream space, extending it beyond the realms of sleep and into the dream of the world itself, the ethical concerns regarding hypnotic regressions and the metaphysics of collapsing potentialities, ways of framing the numinous without losing your mind, and much more. This is an important episode and any sharing is greatly appreciated - People need to hear what Daniel has to say here. Daniel offers client sessions in exchange for donations and Rev recommends working with him. He also has five books, some channeled, and all pertaining to the subjects discussed in this episode. All of his work can be found at https://dseti.org/ Learn more about his work or schedule a session. If you enjoy the show, please DONATE!

    J. David Osborne / Takashi Miike

    J. David Osborne is the author of a sizeable collection of novels which range from dreamy prose set in a gulag, to gritty and comedic crime noir, and arriving in his latest novel Gods Fare No Better at a mystical cyberpunk epic dedicated to his favorite filmmaker, the infamous Takashi Miike. We talk about three of Miike's films in particular (Ichi, Gozu, & Dead Or Alive), mastery of craft through total immersion, artists who are above critique, personal projections in art and critique, the absurdity of the political climate, and we talk about the process of making books, specifically Gods Fair... the fantastic cover art for which our own Kurt Huggins made. David and his colleagues at Broken River Books all collaborate to promote one another's work outside of the holy see of major publishing companies and modern censorship in order to preserve their limitless, artistic freedom. All of their work is excellent and well worth checking out. We touch on some difficult topics, and films, in this one so consider this a warning for sensitive people. You can pick up a copy here, and we highly suggest you do. David's Podcast with Kelby Losack As always we at Soapbox accept donations to keep the show going and Rev Janglebones makes amulets and enchanted items, if that should interest you.

Reclaim the World of Dreams w Amaya Rourke

I think of Amaya Rourke as one of the most honest people in the world of alternative spirituality. Her latest work follows this same theme, born out of the pure need to navigate the neverending onslaught of information we are all bombarded with and help others cultivate their intuition in an age of prolific doubt, constant adrenal stimulation, endless contrary opinions, and the overarching and very much intentional hijacking of our ability to imagine, both as individuals and collectively. We discuss Harriet Tubman’s unshakable trust in her visions which had life or death consequences in the underground railroad, our total dependence on the health of our dreaming to enable us to imagine better solutions, the powers of trust and conversely doubt, the dangers of outsourcing information in your practice, and much more. We typically don’t make a point to promote anything at all on this show, but this current dare I say altruistic work is clearly much needed and I highly encourage everyone to read Amaya’s recent substack posts and, if you’re vibing, consider signing up for the course. The last day for enrollment is March 19th so don’t sleep on this if it rings bells for you. In our most meta episode to date, Chad Andro from the fantastic podcast Radical Elphame joins us to talk about people talking about a movie! The Beach Bum w Joe Seul + Scene v Community

Florida man, prolific musician, burgeoning standup comic, and old friend of the Rev's from his scene kid band days(daze) Joe Seul joined us to discuss the Harmony Korine film, The Beach Bum. Joe brings a fresh and almost, dare I say, pure sort of curiosity and sense of exploration to his myriad creative projects. From a tall, black, laser and smoke-spraying monolith at his live shows, to a Galapagos nature video shot on-location and featuring an original score, to an acoustic live show alone in the woods that was literally for the birds, a controversial dip into talk show host, and on to his next horizon: standup comedy. We chat about this stuff and the state of things in general, reminisce about Florida, how scenes are not necessarily communities and vice-versa, the tendency to push big red buttons, and the elbow brushing with insanity that some gifted artists are prone to. Joe was also kind enough to donate the sick opening track (Selena Gomez [#4]) which you can find on his website below along with other wild stuff he's done. Donate to Soapbox, freeloader!
