Episode 7: How to Say "... ago" in Hungarian
In this Building Blocks episode, Teo and Jimmy tackle one of the trickier time expressions in Hungarian. Saying "two years ago" isn't as straightforward as it sounds. They also spend time on pronunciation, working through the vowel sounds in Hungarian time units that consistently trip up English speakers. By the end of this episode you'll understand the structure behind "ago" in Hungarian, be able to use it with any unit of time, and know why Hungarian vowels should never slide into a diphthong. Bonus: learn why hét has 2 meanings (and not 3 like Jimmy suggested). Study pack available to Paprika tier members in a separate post.
