Train To the World

TRAIN TO THE WORLD (reworking of original instrumental track , by Silvio Vinci) I saw the morning coming through the glass Fields were moving and the towns went past I had no reason to turn around Just an old suitcase and that rolling sound Somebody told me “Boy, you’ve got to choose” But every road you take leaves something to lose So I bought a ticket with nowhere to return Watched another station fade behind the turn And I don’t know where this line will end I don’t know what is waiting there Take that train to the world Let it carry you away Past the houses, past the shadows past the things you couldn’t say Take that train to the world Don’t ask where it goes Sometimes you find your way when nobody knows There was a woman sleeping by the door A man with a newspaper lying on the floor Nobody talking nothing left to prove Just a hundred little lives all beginning to move Maybe California Maybe Liverpool Maybe some forgotten town where nobody knows the rules Maybe there’s no answer waiting down the line Maybe all this travelling is only passing time Take that train to the world Let the old days disappear Every mile becomes a memory every memory gets unclear Take that train to the world while the evening turns to blue You don’t have to know the ending just let the road carry you Rolling on… rolling on… No station in my mind… just another line… Rolling on… to the world…

TRAIN TO THE WORLD (reworking of original instrumental track , by Silvio Vinci)

I saw the morning
coming through the glass
Fields were moving
and the towns went past

I had no reason
to turn around
Just an old suitcase
and that rolling sound

Somebody told me
“Boy, you’ve got to choose”
But every road you take
leaves something to lose

So I bought a ticket
with nowhere to return
Watched another station
fade behind the turn

And I don’t know
where this line will end
I don’t know
what is waiting there

Take that train to the world
Let it carry you away
Past the houses, past the shadows
past the things you couldn’t say

Take that train to the world
Don’t ask where it goes
Sometimes you find your way
when nobody knows

There was a woman
sleeping by the door
A man with a newspaper
lying on the floor

Nobody talking
nothing left to prove
Just a hundred little lives
all beginning to move

Maybe California
Maybe Liverpool
Maybe some forgotten town
where nobody knows the rules

Maybe there’s no answer
waiting down the line
Maybe all this travelling
is only passing time

Take that train to the world
Let the old days disappear
Every mile becomes a memory
every memory gets unclear

Take that train to the world
while the evening turns to blue
You don’t have to know the ending
just let the road carry you

Rolling on…
rolling on…

No station in my mind…
just another line…

Rolling on…
to the world…
