Mew

MEW Neon spiders on the ceiling, drinking shadows from the moon, there’s a radio inside me playing something out of tune. Mew, mew — call my name, through the glass and through the rain. Mew, mew — disappear, I can taste you in the air. Purple horses cross the hallway, someone whispers from the wall. I keep falling through the carpet — but I never seem to fall. Mew, mew — call my name, nothing ever stays the same. Mew, mew — close your eyes… we’ll be gone before sunrise.

MEW

Neon spiders on the ceiling,
drinking shadows from the moon,
there’s a radio inside me
playing something out of tune.

Mew, mew — call my name,
through the glass and through the rain.
Mew, mew — disappear,
I can taste you in the air.

Purple horses cross the hallway,
someone whispers from the wall.
I keep falling through the carpet —
but I never seem to fall.

Mew, mew — call my name,
nothing ever stays the same.
Mew, mew — close your eyes…
we’ll be gone before sunrise.
