Rainbows universally symbolize hope, renewal, & beauty after a storm. Because they appear when the sun breaks through retreating rain clouds, they represent a transition from hardship to brighter days. Across different cultures, religions, and modern movements, rainbows carry many specific layers of meaning. Religious and Mythological Meanings Abrahamic Religions: In the Bible and Torah, the rainbow is a divine covenant from God to Noah promising that a global flood will never again destroy the earth. Greek Mythology: Rainbows are viewed as the path of Iris, the swift-footed messenger goddess who connects heaven and earth. Norse Mythology: The rainbow is known as the Bifröst, a burning bridge that links Midgard (the human world) to Asgard (the realm of the gods). Chesterton Rainbow looks bright, beautiful, and wonderful in blue sky and high! It gives the greatest imagination while forming the clouds thikness made me to imagine the dieties of our culture. It has given me the power of worship and belief inspired me to empower to go in a different world through your Wednesday’s picture which enlightens and enhances us to move forward with great zeal of enthusiasm in order to be active throughout the day.
