It's undeniable that Sandler has built a lengthy career in Hollywood although the quality of that career is up for discussion. What begins as a very by-the-numbers Sander comedy about a man who gifted a universal remote that let's him...well, control his universe, this movie takes a SHARP turn around the middle portion of the film that transforms it into a completely different movie.
