Re-Release: Alan Jones - part 2

Our AJ rewind to celebrate his 80th birthday continues. The incredible story of a breakfast meet with Bernie Ecclestone which lead to his sudden withdrawal from a race! Getting the pilot to fire up the plane for a departure with the race barely underway. Some Supercars reflections plus a sliding doors moment that saved AJ’s life. And a racing superstition and rental car hijinks at the Nurburgring. This forthright convo with Australian Motorsport Hall of Famer Alan Jones was recorded in March 2022. It’s rare for AJ to jump behind a podcast mic, so we’re grateful to have had the chance to unpack his time in F1, Touring Cars and more.
