"When will you be ready to leave for the palace?" Roman, Jake's roommate asked, as he prepared himself for the occasion.

"In a few moments," Jake replied, not moving an inch from where he laid.
"Want me to wait for you, so we can go together?" Roman suggested.
"Nah, don't worry about it. Wouldn't want to delay you." Jake protested.
Roman could tell Jake wanted to be alone, so he didn't push it. He had always found Jake weird. He hardly spoke about himself, and while others spoke, he didn't look like he was paying attention, but still could recollect everything said. Roman gave Jake a long stare before eventually putting on his robe and began staring at his reflection in the mirror instead.
