Gann says she is actually a white woman from a privileged background and acknowledged using "half-truths and obfuscations" that became outright lies. Activists who worked alongside her confronted Gann about her background and have since severed ties with her. ----- J CREW OVERRULED (NEW YORK POST) Texas defense attorney Mariah Medina says a Bexar County judge publicly criticized the sleeveless gray J.Crew shift dress she wore to court, calling it inappropriate and asking whether she had a blazer in her car. Medina says the dress complied with posted rules and had previously been worn in court without objection. The dispute has since turned into a viral courtroom-dress-code debate. ----- AMY!
