A viral video from a Tucson Ross store shows an elderly woman confronting an alleged shoplifter leaving with bags as the store alarm sounds. She draws a handgun during the confrontation. Police are investigating the theft, while legal experts warn that an armed bystander can face serious legal consequences when property theft alone does not present an immediate deadly threat.
SEX SELLS DEM MESSAGE (Fox News)
California congressional candidate Marni von Wilpert held a fundraiser at San Diego’s Gossip Grill, an LGBTQ nightclub known for sexually suggestive event names and menu branding. Republicans attacked the venue choice and her LGBTQ policy agenda. Wilpert lists LGBTQ rights and passage of the Equality Act among her campaign priorities and has defended LGBTQ-themed library materials.

Kamala Harris criticized President Trump’s push for the SAVE America Act, saying it would create voting obstacles and “require proof of who you are to vote.” Not the Bee mocked the remark as an accidental sales pitch for the proposal.
