Dr. Saran Heron talks with Dr. Catherine Meeks, an award-winning author and nationally recognized leader in racial justice, and was honored with the President Joseph R. Biden Lifetime Achievement Award for her decades of work. She spent 25 years as chair of the African American Studies program at Mercer University, and later served as Executive Director of the Absalom Jones Episcopal Center for Racial Healing. She will share how to have hope amid uncertainty in our world today, and how we can rise above our feelings and forgive.
