show notes
This week, we're still reeling from the sudden, heartbreaking death of Every Time I Die guitarist and AEW wrestler Andy Williams, and we spend real time remembering him: the wrestling obsession, the surprise second career in his 40s, and that unhinged boat show story. Things take a turn once someone brings up ash urns. Then, it's the 25th anniversary of 9/11, and we tear through a whole grab bag of tributes gone sideways: viral George W. Bush first-pitch nostalgia, a fan who ran onto the field during a Yankees game, and an old Jim Cornette promo we play in full that sounds absolutely insane. We close out with Ric Flair serenading a stranger at a bar and a Gene Simmons interview so unhinged it derails an entire segment, from his thoughts on Zohran Mamdani to a claim about his body count that has us doing math on air.
