In today's episode, we welcome one of the most influential American sculptors of her generation, Kennedy Yanko. Born in Saint Louis USA, she shaped her artistic language in New York before settling in Miami. Alchemist artist, she works with reclaimed metals and what she calls paint pots, which she transforms into a surprising lightness as if ready to take life at the slightest breath. Her practice transcends matter to invite a poetic rereading of what is visible and tangible. Exhibited in prestigious institutions such as the Rubell Museum and the Brooklyn Museum, she shares with us her relationship with transformation, the place of chance in her creative process and her commitment to creating spaces for reflection and transmission.
