show notes
In a matter of days, Ceuta went from being a place few had heard of, and fewer still could find on a map, to the centre of Europe's migrant debate.
Naomi, Alex and Kenny are joined by former diplomat Arthur Snell to work out what was going on behind the scenes, as media around the world pumped out endless imagery of crowds of Moroccans apparently heading for Europe (spoiler: it didn't really play out that way).
There is a LOT to unpick, from the involvement of Russia to the naivety of politicians and the unwillingness of media to even scratch beneath the surface of this story as it was developing.
Plus, we'll have one or two treats from the cupboard where we keep Wokey Dokey, Old News, God! Less America, and Grin And Share It...
