141: Jared is Forced to Defend Macklemore [Preview]

This was apparently an unforgivable sin in the eyes of diehard pro-Israel groups like the ADL and stadium owners like Robert Kraft, who successfully pressured Ed Sheeran to drop the rapper from his US tour. In this premium episode, Jared pulls double duty: first explaining the whole saga to Mike, who struggles to understand how either of these guys got famous in the first place, and then — reluctantly — defending Macklemore. Next, fresh out of the Poodle Room, we find PTI mainstay Kash Patel going "beast mode," begging his FBI spokesperson to defend his honor against an offensively named X account and sharing some of his thoughts about bestiality with members of congress. Jared and Mike also look at the recent wave of dystopian buzz around artificial intelligence and a strange new alliance between Bernie Sanders and Steve Bannon on the topic. Finally, they check in on Benny Johnson after recorded an incredibly normal podcast episode with his wife where they repeatedly insist they conceived their children through vaginal sex and that their family is not an AI-generated hoax.
