U.S. officials are investigating a wave of cyberattacks targeting water and wastewater systems in at least 12 states, with Iran emerging as the leading suspect, according to sources cited by ABC News. Despite the breadth of the attacks, authorities say there have been no widespread disruptions to drinking water supplies or wastewater treatment operations so far.
