Running a Mile with World Record holder Josh Kerr
transcript
show notes
Fresh from a World record-breaking Mile in London, this week we're honoured to welcome World Champion and Olympic medallist Josh Kerr to the Run Club.
Paula and Thommo delighted in chatting to Josh straight after his Commonwealth Games Mile success - serendiptious as it was that the race was added back in for Glasgow - they wanted to know how much pressure he felt now he's the record holder and how that converted in to more success.
We delve a little deeper into his Project 222 and learn a little more about why he never makes things easy for himself, plus, who does he think would win in a hypothetical Mile race with all the record holders on the start line?!Looking into Josh's future, we see marathons but probably not any 5000m races because "no one cares about it"...! Go on, have a listen and then let us know what you think!
