The aim of the spiritual journey is to become what God wants us to become and to please God. That God’s will will be done with us no matter what. So what do we do when the journey gets difficult and the destination starts to feel too far away?
In this message titled “Do Not Cheat—Part 1," Pastor Jeffrey Walter teaches that every believer has a spiritual inheritance and a God-given “end”—the promised land—that must remain the driving purpose throughout the journey. He challenges believers to push beyond fleshly comfort, resist fear, and refuse convenient shortcuts that can replace God’s original purpose with worldly desires. Pastor Jeffrey Walter explains how “spiritual cheating” happens when fear, material gain, or comfort becomes the new motivation and encourages believers to embrace surrender, perseverance, and even discomfort while trusting God’s providence.
As you listen to this message, be encouraged to hold on to the vision God has given you, reject fear-driven compromises, and keep moving forward even when the journey becomes difficult. Don’t drop the baton. Keep your eyes on the promised land and trust God until His purpose is fulfilled in your life.
