Although many people immediately think of beer when they hear the word Trappist, the world of Trappist is much broader than that. The authentic Trappist label unites some 15 abbeys around the world. They all make unique products within the walls of the abbey and always under the supervision of the Trappists. They often work with them themselves. How do they fill their days? What are their values, what is their mission? And what are the criteria for obtaining the special label?
