Growing Through Self Reflection

Robby and James discuss Pastor Steve’s sermon on hypocrisy and the need for self-evaluation, emphasizing that the message is meant to help believers examine their own lives in light of God’s word. They also reflect on a communion service that used more liturgical elements than usual, connecting communion to confession, repentance, and remembering Christ’s sacrifice. The conversation turns to the call for Christians to avoid “mask-wearing” and instead let Scripture and prayer reveal where their lives do not match what they believe. They walk through areas such as time, money, comfort, and relationships, and close by encouraging confession, apology, accountability, and regular heart checks with trusted believers.
