Communion

Throughout this episode of Beyond Sunday, Pastor James and Pastor Robbie talk about communion and why it matters in the life of the church. They discuss a recent service with a more communal and liturgical approach, then trace communion back to Passover, the Last Supper, and Jesus’ words about the new covenant. They also look at Paul’s warning in 1 Corinthians 11 and how communion relates to church unity. The episode closes with questions about who should take communion, how it should be observed, and how often it should be practiced.
