Next Level You: There's Nothing Wrong With You
transcript
show notes
What if the discomfort you’re feeling isn’t a sign that something is wrong, but evidence that you’ve reached a new level of growth? In the final episode of the AWAKEN series, Jeanne explores N—Next Level You and what happens when the life, relationships, patterns, and coping strategies that once fit begin to feel unfamiliar. Growth can create an uncomfortable space between who you’ve been and who you’re becoming. Rather than seeing this as something to fix, Jeanne invites you to recognize it as part of awakening to your truest potential.
Drawing from her own experience of feeling as though she has outgrown parts of her current life, Jeanne explores the “messy middle” of transformation: the space where the familiar no longer feels aligned, but the next chapter hasn’t fully taken shape. She reframes the idea of becoming your “next level” self, not as doing more, achieving more, or proving your worth, but as building a life rooted in self-respect, integrity, boundaries, authenticity, and a greater capacity to stay with yourself through discomfort. Recovery and healing aren’t only about what you stop doing; they’re also about creating a life you don’t feel the need to escape from.
You’ll learn how small, repeated choices can create evidence for a new identity and begin building new neural pathways, from honoring a boundary and asking for support to resting instead of overfunctioning or allowing yourself to feel an emotion without escaping it. Jeanne also explores why expansion can activate the nervous system, why we sometimes return to familiar patterns even when they no longer serve us, and how grief can accompany growth. She closes with a simple reflective practice to help you ask: Who am I becoming now, and what is one small action I can take today that reflects that person? Your next level isn’t asking you to become somebody else. It’s inviting you to become more fully who you already are.
