Record-Tying 37th Blown Save

The Nats yet again coughed up a late lead as the tied the 2024 White Sox for the most blown saves in a season. Mark (From Dodger Stadium) & Tim recap the 7-5 loss in Los Angeles on Sunday evening. Washington led 5-4 until Mookie Betts' 3-run HR in the bottom of the 8th off of Will Dion. (05:00) Orlando Ribalta was unavailable out of the 'pen due to right forearm tightness. Ribalta felt discomfort less than an hour before the game and he will get a MRI on Tuesday in San Diego. (09:00) Dion struck out the Dodger side in the 7th, but his luck ran out in the 8th. He retired the first two hitters, but then Alex Call's 2-out single began the rally. (14:00) How does Paul Toboni and his staff respond to this season's bullpen disaster in the off-season? (20:00) Andrew Alvarez pitched into the 5th, but ran into trouble and was ultimately charged with three runs. Alvarez, the Southern California native, pitched in front of many family and friends on Sunday evening. (24:00) CJ Abrams hit his 30th homer of the season in the top of the 1st. Daylen Lile tripled again in the 6th, but then got tagged out in a rundown after a contact play. (28:00) Any chance that Josiah Gray takes Ribalta's roster spot?
