20-year-old left Tlaquepaque in a taxi for a farm job and vanished; the search led investigators to Tecalitlán, Jalisco. There they found eight men held in a dim, stained-room clinic the CJNG used to patch up recruits it would not let leave. Six guards were arrested. Two of the rescued were on crutches. The highway advertisements that brought them there are still being taken down.
