When Everything Changes | Daily Devotional 1651

What do you do when life changes in ways you never expected and the future you imagined suddenly looks completely different? In today's episode, Richelle Alessi introduces our new study through the book of Ruth, beginning with Ruth 1:1–5. We're introduced to Naomi, a woman whose life is turned upside down by devastating loss and uncertainty. After losing her husband and both of her sons, Naomi finds herself facing a future she never planned for, unsure of what comes next. We'll be challenged to examine how we respond when everything around us changes. Whether we're experiencing loss, navigating an unexpected transition, or questioning what God has planned for our lives, we're reminded that faith doesn't mean we'll never face difficult seasons. It means we don't have to walk through them alone. Even when we cannot see what lies ahead, we can trust that God is present, that His Spirit brings comfort, and that He can provide the support we need along the way. Let's join in prayer and devotion as a community, asking God to strengthen our faith through life's unexpected changes, comfort us in seasons of loss, and help us trust His faithfulness even when we don't understand what comes next.
