65. War Day 6: The Crocodile vs. The Heron & Bheem’s Penetration

On the 6th day of the Great War, the tactical formations take a massive shift as Dhrishtadyumn deploys the Pandav army into the Makara Vyuh (Crocodile Formation) to counter Bhishma’s colossal Krauncha Vyuh (Heron Formation). The highlight of the day is Bheem’s reckless and terrifying bravery as he completely breaches the Kaurava lines. Together, Bheem and Dhrishtadyumn wreak havoc on the Kuru army, destroying Drona's chariot, killing Duryodhan's brother, and securing a decisive psychological and physical victory for the Pandavas by sunset.
