61. War Day 2: Bheem’s Rampage Against the Kalingas & The Krauncha Formation

Following the defeat on Day 1, a devastatingly anxious Yudhishthir is reassured by Shree Krishna, leading Dhrishtadyumn to organize the Pandav army into the impenetrable Krauncha Vyuh (Heron Formation). The day belongs to Bhima, who unleashes his ferocious wrath upon the Kalinga and Nishaad armies, single-handedly slaying Prince Bhanuman and Ketuman while crushing their elephant division. The episode concludes with the Pandavas making a strong comeback, as Arjun holds Bhishma at bay and Bheem’s terror forces the Kaurava army to retreat.
