60. War Day 1: Yudhishthir’s Masterstroke & The Fall of Virat’s Sons

The Kurukshetra War begins not with a clash of weapons, but with a stunning act of humility as Yudhishthir walks barefoot to the enemy lines to seek permission from Bhishma and Drona to fight them. Following this, the battle erupts, featuring a fierce duel between the young Abhimanyu and the Grandsire Bhishma. However, the first day ends in tragedy for the Pandavas; despite their valor, King Shalya kills Prince Uttar, and the mighty General Shveta is slain by Bhishma, leaving the Pandava army demoralized as the sun sets.
