Today we discuss continuation betting poker strategy as the in position 3 Bettor.
Most of the time when you are in position to other players you will be 3 betting preflop. Calling is mainly for the button and big blind. And in live games with large bet sizing preflop not a lot of big blind calling.
In position as the preflop 3 bettor you have represented a very strong range so you get to continue more liberally across a lot of flops.
Basically any flop with a broadway card or even two broadways.
Flops with big medium little cards
Nearly all 9 high flops that aren’t well connected
Flops with flush draws, back doors and overs, and even gutters when it’s a good looking flop for strong ranges.
The boards you want to check back a fair amount are low connected.

And especially when two suits you don’t block
You can bet large on almost every good flop. Almost always.
