Chapter 1 - The River Bank. I had never read this, but having watched the original film perhaps more times than l'd seen anything as a child & then listening to the audio tapes in the car on route to our caravan holidays in Wales I was instantly taken back to that time immediately as the familiar words & characters began coming to life, from the very first sentence. This is going to be such a lovely story to read. I hope Lyla enjoys listening to this as much as I shall reading.
