Guten Tag! Welcome to unit 10. In this lesson we will learn the verb: "to know" and also how to form longer sentences, as well as reviewing previous knowledge. Los geht's! The way to say “I know” is: Ich weiß. Again: I know. Ich weiß. I don’t know. Ich weiß nicht. Where is it? I don’t know. Wo ist es? Ich weiß nicht. Can you come? Kannst du kommen? Can you come? I don’t know. Kannst du kommen? Ich weiß nicht. It’s interesting. I know! Es ist interessant. Ich weiß! What? Was? What it is. Was es ist. I know what it is. Ich weiß, was es ist. I don’t know what it is. Ich weiß nicht, was es ist. Where? Wo? I don’t know where it is. Ich weiß nicht, wo es ist. I have time. Ich habe Zeit. I also have time. Ich habe auch Zeit. I think I have time. Ich denke, ich habe Zeit. You are doing Du machst. I know what you are doing. Ich weiß, was du machst. You come. Du kommst. Where from? Woher? I know where you come from. Ich weiß, woher du kommst. I’m learning German because it’s interesting. Ich lerne Deutsch, denn es ist interessant. I do. Ich mache. I don’t know what. Ich weiß nicht, was. I don’t know what I’m doing. Ich weiß nicht, was ich mache. You do. Du machst. I don’t know what you’re doing. Ich weiß nicht, was du machst. I think I know. Ich denke, ich weiß. I can do it. The way to say: “you know” is: Du weißt. To make the question: “do you know?” We just invert it. Weisst du? Let’s repeat: Do you know? Weißt du? Do you know where it is? Weißt du, wo es ist? Do you know what you’re doing? Weißt du, was du machst? I don’t know when. Ich weiß nicht, wann. I have to work. Ich muss arbeiten. I have to work but I don’t know when. Ich muss arbeiten, aber ich weiß nicht, wann. I have time but I don’t know when. Ich habe Zeit, aber ich weiß nicht, wann. Do you know when? Weißt du, wann? Do you know when you’re coming? Weisst du, wann du kommst? What I would like Was ich möchte. I know what I would like. Ich weiss, was ich möchte. You would like. Du möchtest. Do you know what you would like?
