Lead By Serving

In this episode of LLI, Chad Veach discusses the power of servant leadership with NBA trainer Zach Gonzales. Zach shares his journey from an unexpected coaching opportunity at the University of Oregon to working with elite NBA athletes, highlighting the importance of taking chances, embracing the unseen work, and staying committed to personal growth. They explore why leadership begins with serving others, how to separate your identity from your profession, and why character and integrity matter more than accolades or achievements. Chad and Zach also discuss building trust through intentional relationships, leading by example, staying humble and teachable, and using your influence to help others grow both on and off the court. Ultimately, they reflect on what it means to measure success not by professional accomplishments, but by how you serve people and the lasting impact you have on their lives.
