A Gravity Boundary Has Divided America

At a truck stop in western Kansas, Wexley “Roadie” Boyd watches his coffee pour sideways. On one side of the parking lot, a dropped wrench falls normally. On the other, it falls too slowly. Then Channel 19 fills with reports from drivers across the country. An invisible gravity boundary runs through America: normal weight to the east, lighter gravity to the west. And the boundary is moving. Roadie’s nine-year-old son is waiting in Salina. To reach him, he must navigate Interstate 70 as familiar roads become dangerous crossings. With fellow truckers sharing warnings and a seventeen-year-old tracking the boundary over the radio, every mile becomes a decision about who he can help—and how much time he has left. Last Warning Broadcast presents an atmospheric science fiction horror story told through CB radio transmissions and a father’s personal recording. A gravity anomaly, a moving frontier, and an ordinary driver trying to reach his family. Follow Last Warning Broadcast on Spotify for more immersive radio stories and unexplained mysteries. This episode is a work of fiction. It is not a real emergency broadcast, scientific report, or safety advisory.
